Kids know more tech than life skills

“The survey says that while 58% of kids age 2 to 5 can play a basic computer game, but only 52% are able to ride a bike. While 19% can easily use a smart phone app, but just 9% have learned to tie their own shoe. Wow, got to work on that.”

Have you seen this to be true?

I don’t see why tech skills and life skills can’t be taught together. I’m sure there’s an app for tying shoes. Riding a bike…I’m not so sure.
