I’m really bad at it, but it’s great exercise and it gets me sweating.
I’m talking about Dance Dance Revolution. We play the Mario version on our Game Cube.
But Becki said it right on that the music of these types of games is not very uplifting. The Mario version is not bad, but the Guitar Hero and other such games have some inappropriate music. After you play it over and over again, that music gets stuck to your mind. Though the games are fun and clean, the music bothered me.
Becki enlightened me to the Christian version Dance Praise. You can now dance to contemporary Christian music!
Don’t misunderstand. I am not saying playing some gratuitous Christian music sanctifies everything. It’s that I’d rather have Christian music in my head all day instead of hearing “Hit Me With Your Best Shot” over and over again.

I’ve never played DDR but I’m so fascinated by the people who do it well. I’ve watched people play it in arcades and thought it would be great for my kids (and maybe me.) We don’t have a game system though. Maybe someday we will.

I checked out the Dance Praise, and I am thrilled that there are Christian songs that kids could dance to with the DDR. I think I am going to start dancing!

DDR is my daily exercise. I agree about the music. Especially when my kids play with me, I have to be very careful which songs I choose. I have heard about Dance Praise before and I would love to get it soon.
