We all want to raise “successful” children. But what is the definition of “successful”?
The usual measurements of success are school grades, bank account size, or popularity.
But I think Jordan Rice’s self-sacrifice is an example of true success.
This young boy of 13 gave up his own chance of rescue during the devastating flood in Australia in order to save his younger brother.
I would be a very proud mother to have raised such a heroic son.
