Another silly story that will make the kids giggle and remind them what real friendship looks like.

The art in this story is very pretty and creative. The message to always find ways to expressive yourself is also nice. But my 1st grader didnβt love the story. Iβm not sure why. #situations: bedtime
I did not the like story. It was a very silly, sparse story with very little plot. My 6 yr old daughter seemed to enjoy it and wanted me to read again. Maybe she liked the idea of the youngest girl taking care of the entire house of sick people? #situations: bedtime
I know this book was revolutionary for being the first picture book with an African American main character. But the story is boring for my kids. I think the story is written in a lovely, slow tone. It is a slice of life, boring story.
The art is very cute. You will probably get lots of mileage just observing the silly art with your kid. #situations: bedtime
This book is so funny! My kid loves this book. It breaks the fourth wall like Elmo with the monster at the end of the book. #situations: bedtime
This is a great book to keep in the car to keep the kids busy. It's also a good book to help the kids with an eye for details. This book isn't just about finding waldo. There are many other "spot xyz" activities so it has high re-read value. #situations: travel #situations: travel
I have mixed feelings about this book. It sprinkles graphics among the text so it's easy for your beginner reader to read. For example, instead of "hat", it will have a picture of a hat in the sentence. It's a good strategy! The pictures are bright and the story is engaging. My problem is that sometimes it has bad grammar. #situations: travel
This book is alright. Not spectacular, but its cadence is mildly catchy. Maybe it would work for a nighttime routine. But Iβm not a big fan and neither were my kids. #situations: bedtime

Donald Duck Cleans Up is on page 101 of this collection of multiple stories. Next is: Mickey Mouse and the kitten-sitters. All stories are funny. Next is: Donald Duck and the buried treasure. This story is fun.
Robots aren't allowed to race in this story where "people" like Goofy race to win money to support children at the orphanage. #situations: big-feelings
Origin story of how Mickey Mouse first got his dog and named him Pluto. Back when Pluto was a planet. #situations: big-feelings
Some Ducks Have All The Luck. When you compare yourself with others, you make yourself miserable. #situations: sibling-rivalry
Nice story in Hawaii about sharing with neighbors on your block. #situations: travel
My daughter wasnβt a big fan of the story. She thought the cake looked too boring. βI kind of like the jelly beans and nothing else. β The story was an unoffensive, βplain vanilla.β #situations: bedtime
Great book for my early reader. She can read it on her own cause the whole story only had a handful of words that kept repeating. She felt proud to read it on her own. #situations: bedtime
This book reminds me of the book: the book with no pictures. My daughter giggled a lot and enjoyed the book a lot. #situations: bedtime
My daughter loves this book. I find pinkalicious very sweet in this story. She does not act bratty at all. #situations: bedtime
My kid loved the book βup to the planet Plutoβ. I guess thatβs higher than the moon? I thought it was imaginative and a cute way to teach the importance of brushing your hair and other hygiene.
Love the touch and feel aspect.
We received this book as a gift. I was sceptical of the book because it looks so generic! But the finger puppet made this book one of our favorites. Even at 6, my kindergartner still loves this book. She likes to kiss the puppet and then hide when the puppet tries to kiss her back. The story isnβt funny. But my kid canβt stop giggling when playing with the puppet.
My girls (6yr and 4yr) love Paw Patrol stories. This book is nice because it has 3 stories in one. I would definitely recommend for Paw Patrol fans. The pictures in these books are great!
I read this with my 6 year old and 4 year old. They enjoyed opening the flaps to find the characters. Story and life lessons were not that great. Overall it was enjoyable for the kids.
I love the repetitive rhythm and rhyme of this book. I loved all the pictures of all the little kids from all over the world. It was a joy to read to my child. I loved when she would recite the story with me. And because there were so many different babies in the book... she always found one that she could say: "that one is me"
Good book
Beep beep beep! This has become an absolute favorite. The rhyming is catchy, the message about friendship and helping others is perfect, and my son makes all the animal sounds along with us. Highly recommend the whole series!
Its a good rhyme style book that teaches kids the very important lesson to try try again!
I loved reading this story to my child at bedtime. I would act out each page... "10 kisses on 10 wiggly toes" :) My kid loved the silliness of the bedtime routine. Great for parent child bonding.
The repetitive rhyme of the story is easy to remember. My kid was able to recite most of the story after a few reads. The lesson of choosing to NOT be blah~ is also valuable.
We love reading this book... because we love food. It's so fun to imagine with my kid what life would be like if our favorite food rained from the sky.
Great for reading outloud. Simple illustrations that make my kid giggle. Definitely worth borrowing from the library. MIGHT be worth buying if your kid really likes it.
I love reading this story to my kids. I hope it ingrains in them the fact that they are so loved. It also reminds me how much I love my kids.
I was never a big fan of this book. The illustrations are pretty, but I'm not sure what the moral of the story is? Why did the rainbow fish have to give away all his shiny scales? Why couldn't he just become friends with other fish WITHOUT giving away his rainbow scales? It'd be a good conversation starter about how your kid feels about the fish giving away his scales and then applying it to real life.
I think this is not as popular as the hungry hungry caterpillar. But the story is so good! The art is gorgeous, and the lesson of adventure and making a house a home is gold.
My daughter liked it. She liked the amusing pictures. But I found the lesson kind of obscured by clunky rhymes. It was not fun to read aloud. She wouldnβt mind hearing it again. I think I would really rather not read it again.
This is a book with no words, gorgeous art, and a thoughtful story about a robot that is saving animals. I like letting my kid tell me what's happening in the pictures. I like exploring the details of the pictures with my kid. It was her favorite book tonight and she wanted to take it to school to share with her friends.
Babies love touch and feel books. But you only need 1 or 2 of these. Then again β¦ if you have lots of shelf space, and you are wary of library germs, you can get more if you want. π
The art alone makes this book worth buying. The story has a lot of words; it makes me wonder if children 100 years ago had a better attention span? I don't think my daughter paid close attention to every detailed word. But she enjoyed looking at the pictures! And since this book is a classic, I feel very high-brow just having it on my shelf.
Very boring book for the parents. But it is a great teaching tool. My kid showed great pride in being able to "read" this book. I also used it to help address some speech delays. The art is typical Eric Carle style. I think it's ugly, but apparently most of the world likes it. Worth borrowing.
This is a great book that gives the child (or parent) lots of creative freedom. I loved hearing the different ways my child would describe what was happening. Every reading was different.
Beep beep beep! This has become an absolute favorite. The rhyming is catchy, the message about friendship and helping others is perfect, and my son makes all the animal sounds along with us. Highly recommend the whole series!
Good book
The rhymes are pretty funny and the donkey gets really crazy. There is a song that goes with it too. My toddler enjoyed all the parts. I got tired of rereading it over and over again.
One of my FAVORITE childrenβs books. Weβve re-read this countless times and I love buying this for all my friends.
My kid didn't know what vampires are
I think kids are never too old for this refresher on manners. I would read this to my teenagers to remind them to be polite to each other!
This story never fails to earn giggles. And the illustrations are funny too!
The perfect bedtime book! Each page adds another animal trying to sleep, and the rhythm is so soothing. My kids love doing the animal sounds and it actually helps settle them down for bed. Win-win!
A clever twist on Sleeping Beauty! My daughter loved that the princess saves the day instead of waiting to be rescued. Great for early chapter book readers who love fairy tales with a modern spin.
