Are you a nagging wife??

March 24th, 2011

While in my car running errands, I heard this on the Focus on the Family radio show yesterday, spoken by Linda Dillow:

“…as women, as wives, we err greatly by our griping, and our complaining and nagging, and as I studied the book of Proverbs, I decided this is a gender specific sin … every time a contentious, nagging, complaining, griping, venting woman is described in the book of Proverbs, it is always a female, wife. It is not just a woman, it is a wife. I don’t know what it is about putting on a wedding ring that turns us into these nags….”

That hit home!

I am generally a very nice person. Everyone will tell you that Katy is not a complainer or a nag, everyone except my husband!

This is one area I need to work on. No one wants to live with a complainer. It doesn’t make for a happy home.
