Voting your values

October 20th, 2010

For those of us in the United States, it’s time to vote.

But for most of us, the only source of information about the issues and candidates is from mailers in our mailboxes. Or we might hear ad campaigns on TV and radio.

How can we know who or what to vote for that represents our values? I find it particularly difficult to know how to vote for the judges on the ballot. I simply would not be able to have enough information to make an informed vote.

If you are like me, a conservative Christian voting in California, I found the answer for us!

Go to Election Forum. Craig Huey gives his list of recommendations based on our conservative values. You may or may not agree with him completely, but I think it’s a good place to start.

The way we vote will determine the kind of place our children will grow in.

It may be trite, but let me say it – your vote counts. Yes, it does.

“All that is necessary for evil to triumph is for good men to do nothing.”

  1. I wish we had something like that for the FL ballot. Thanks!
