Support the Girl Scouts

February 10th, 2009

Have you been asked yet?

I have and I said YES right away!

When a Girl Scout asks you to buy Girl Scout cookies, how can you refuse?

Supporting cookie season means helping to support girls that will someday become the strong, successful women in our community. Many successful business women today say they got their start selling Girl Scout Cookies! So isn’t it neat to think that when your local Girl Scouts come calling with this year’s best-selling cookies, you’re saying hello to tomorrow’s future business leaders?

Did you know?

*Girl Scouts practice life skills like goal setting, money management, and teamwork—and they have fun!
*Customers get a great product and get to support girls in their own community.
*All of the proceeds support Girl Scouting in the local community.

My daughter was a Brownie, then a Girl Scout in a troop with 12 girls. The girls not only had fun and became good friends, they also worked together to serve the community.

Girl Scout activities also gave us more mother-daughter time. We enjoyed activities together that we would not normally do on our own. We went camping, had an overnight stay at the aquarium, visited convalescent homes, went Christmas caroling…I can not begin to list all the fun and benefits that my daughter and I had with the Girl Scouts.

Please support the Girl Scouts. If you haven’t ordered your Girl Scout cookies yet, find out when and where cookies will be sold, and what varieties will be available in your community please visit www.girlscoutcookies.org.
